2015 Great American Beer Festival ticket sales start July 28th

photo24July is quickly passing us by, and that can mean only one thing: Great American Beer Festival tickets will soon be available for BA member and public purchase!

Founded in 1982 and hosted annually by the Brewers Association, the Great American Beer Festival has become the premier beer competition as well as the largest ticketed beer festival in the United States. Beer lovers flock to Denver each year in late September to sample thousands of brews from hundreds of American craft breweries.

The 2015 festival promises to be “Bigger, Better, and Beerier” with 90,000 additional square feet in the tasting hall and an anticipated 60,000 attendees. Sessions span from Thursday, September 24th through Saturday, September 26th at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Upwards of 800 breweries will be pouring samples of over 3,500 beers.

Tickets are $80.00 public/ $75.00 members (during pre-sale) and include a commemorative tasting glass, 1 oz samples of each and every beer on the hall floor, and access to educational seminars and keynotes throughout all four sessions.

Ticket sales begin via ticketmaster.com at the start of next week. Brewer’s Association and American Homebrewer Association Member Pre-Sale kicks off at 10:00 AM MT on Tuesday July 28th. Existing members will be provided a special access code to participate in the pre-sale. Member-only session tickets will also be available to BA and AHBA members for $65.00 with a limit of 2 tickets per member number. Public sales for the General Sessions open up the following morning at 10:00 AM with a limit of 4 tickets per session per ticket buyer.

In past years, tickets have sold out in a matter of hours, so set your alarms and don’t dilly dally. The 2015 GABF is not one to be missed!
