Austin Breweries, Bars Celebrate 4th of July
Well, we’ve officially landed back in Austin after roughly a month abroad.
And what better way to get back into the swing of American life than with the most patriotic of holidays–Thanksgiving! Fourth of July.
Austin breweries and craft beer bars are getting into the American spirit as well, providing beer lovers with some refreshing ways to celebrate. Check out the list below for our picks…

Hops & Grain was once dubbed by Austin Beer Guide as the “brewery most likely to throw a party on a bank holiday,” and the Fourth of July is no exception. Celebrate at H&G with special patriotic glassware, sliders from Hand Helds food truck, and oodles of taproom only releases.
Tickets are available in advance for via Ticket Fly. $15 plus fees (limited to the first 125 people) gets ya the special glass, 4 pours and a fancy new American Flag key chain.
Craft Pride’s First Annual Freedom Fest

Craft Pride will have live music from 4pm-midnight, along with a special cask tapping of Save the World Brewing Co.’s Verbum in Tenebris, a “rich double milk-chocolate stout with cocoa nibs and peppermint”.
Plus, the Craft Pride gang will be breaking out a few special hop rocket creations:
Guadalupe Brewing Company‘s Texas Honey Ale with fresh cut apples and cinnamon sticks
Twisted X Brewing Company‘s Tex-Mex Lager with the freshest american grown hops available

Brewery Tour & Live Music @ The ABGB

The ABGB will be offering a rare tour of the brewery at 1pm on the 4th, followed by live music from Wild Bill and The Lost Knobs, La Tampiquena and headliners Mike and the Moonpies.
