Today Only: Bitch Beer Blog-a-Thon!!!
As some of you may have heard, we (three Bitch Beer contributors Caroline Wallace, Sarah Wood & Jessica Deahl) will be departing for Europe in a few weeks to conduct interviews and research for a very special upcoming travel & history themed beer book.
It’s a great opportunity & we are incredibly excited to get to work on our next book. However, the trip is tempered with some challenging financial realities. With mounting travel costs like airfare, a month of accommodation and interpreters for interviews in six different languages coming out-of-pocket before we can even put fingers to keys, we are admitting that it is time to ask for some serious help from our readers and community members.
The (hopeful) solution?
Bitch Beer’s first ever “Blog-a-Thon” will be going down online & at Craft Pride from open to close TODAY (Sunday 5/10). We’ll be posted up from 1pm to 1am doing a 21st century spin on the ol’ telethons of yesteryear, live blogging along the way.
For every donation milestone we hit toward our remaining goal of $6,000, we’ll release juicy new content on this site, host a silent auction, have special tappings, perform crazy antics, and best of all–give out some seriously awesome raffle prizes to digital and in-person donors (listed below).

We’re proud to have been able to offer free content on Bitch Beer for the last three years without running advertisements or “sponsored posts,” but this book really is a very different animal.
We hope you’re able to join us for the Blog-a-Thon, and we thank you very much for any support you are able to offer.
