Fremont Officially Opening Expanded Urban Beer Garden
Remember back in March when we told you (in this post) about Fremont Brewing expanding their beer garden? The day has finally arrived and Fremont is ready to officially open the doors to their new, expanded tasting room, the Urban Beer Garden. And what better way to celebrate more drinking space than with a beer pouring, burger eating, ribbon cutting party?
Starting at noon with Founder/Owner, Matt Lincecum, cutting the ribbon, Fremont will open its doors to the ever-increasing crowd of supporters and fans to come check out their new, 3,000 sq. ft. beer garden. The tasting room will now feature an indoor stone fireplace as well as twenty extra taps showcasing Fremont beers as well as guest beers.
The party itself will include free swag for the first 50 customers, a super special tap list (see below), burgers provided by Uneeda Burger, live music performed by the Porterbelly String Band, as well as a children’s raffle.
The tap list for the party includes:
- Both Dark Star and Kentucky Dark Star
- The Brother
- 1st Nail
- Cowiche Fresh Hop
- An undisclosed Randall
- Brew 1000
- Westland Rye Saison
- Old Bridge Rider
- As well as their current seasonals Bonfire Ale and Harvest Ale
- And so many more that this list would look like I was trying to take up page space if I wrote them all.
The event goes from 12:00-3:00 PM (with the Urban Beer Garden staying open until 9:00 PM) so join us in congratulating Fremont on their expansion!
