The Texas Craft Brewers Festival Still Needs Volunteers
The 2014 Texas Craft Brewers Festival is just around the corner, but organizers are still in need of some hardworking volunteers to make the September 27 event a big, beer-filled success.
The Austin-based festival is looking for TABC certified volunteers to pour beer and check IDs. Non TABC certified volunteers can also pitch in for the cause by helping with merchandise and ticket sales, ice runs, and other jobs to keep the fest running smoothly.
Besides the shiny sense of satisfaction that comes with donating time for a toast-worthy cause, volunteers receive a variety of perks, including: a comped ticket so you can taste beers after your shift, a festival T-shirt and tasting glass, plus entrance to a pre-festival volunteer-only event at Austin Beerworks on Monday, Sept. 22, and a volunteer after party immediately following the festival at Hops & Grain.
AM and PM shifts are available, for details go here, and sign up today!
