Whether you’re a Denver local, or you’re heading to the Mile High City for the Great American Beer Festival, the wealth of beer-related fun in the city will definitely extend beyond the convention center walls this October.
One such example is the annual Beers Made by Walking Festival, which is being held Friday, Oct 3 at Wynkoop Brewing.
The event welcomes breweries from Colorado and beyond to present place-based beers brewed with ingredients foraged on nature walks in their areas.
Participating breweries include: Aspen, Bonfire, Boulder, Copper Kettle, Coopersmith’s, Crazy Mountain, Crooked Stave, Elevation, FATE, Fonta Flora, Former Future, Fossil, Fullsteam, Horse and Dragon, Ladyface, Odell, Oskar Blues, Our Mutual Friend, Paradox, Pateros Creek, Riff Raff, Scratch, Station 26, Strange, TRiNiTY, TRVE, West Flanders, Wicked Weed, Wild Woods, Wit’s End and Wynkoop Brewing.
Tickets are now on sale for the event. They run $40 each which includes a souvenir glass and unlimited sampling while supplies lasts. Proceeds from the event will benefit Denver’s Cottonwood Institute.
