Tickets Now On Sale For Elysian’s Great Pumpkin Beer Fest
It may not seem like pumpkin beer weather yet. The trees are still green, the sun doesn’t set at 4:30 in the afternoon and it’s about 70-80 degrees in Seattle but tickets have gone on sale for Elysian’s Great Pumpkin Beer Fest which will take place this year on October 3rd and 4th!
If you are unfamiliar with the Great Pumpkin Beer Fest, here’s on overview:
This year will be the 10th year that Elysian has put on this festival dedicated to the wonders of pumpkin beer. Held in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, the festival showcases 80+ pumpkin beers (at least 20 of those are crafted by Elysian’s pumpkin beer obsessed brewers) from breweries far and wide.
Every year they also pick a theme for the festival. This year’s theme is Orange and they recommend you interpret that any way you want. Experts in costume judgment will be walking through the crowds and if you bring your A-game and rock an awesome costume, you’ll be rewarded with delicious prizes.
In addition to celebrating all things pumpkin beer, the festival hosts a number of local food trucks, pumpkin carving, and a ton of fall themed activities scattered throughout the area. There’s even a giant, several pound pumpkin that Elysian scoops clean, scorches, fills with pumpkin beer, seals and conditions to be tapped during the festival.
You can buy tickets at the link here or you can go straight to the source and buy tickets while enjoying a cold one at any Elysian location. Tickets run $28/day at Elysian locations, $28/day + fees from Brown Paper Tickets, or $50 for a two day pass. With your ticket into the festival, you receive a Great Pumpkin Beer Festival snifter glass and 6 drink tickets. Additional tickets may be purchase for $2 each.
So far, the list of participating breweries only includes Elysian but keep checking the website because they’ll be adding more and more breweries leading up to the festival!
