Independence Brewing Hosts 5th Annual Pints for Pups

Screen Shot 2014-04-14 at 9.40.42 AMAustin’s Independence Brewing Company will cause tails to wag this weekend with their fifth annual Pints for Pups event.

The pet friendly party, which will be held Saturday, April 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. will feature a Doggy Kissing Booth, Doggy Cake Walk (for pet friendly baked goods), Doggy Treat Hunt, a photo booth (for family photos with your pet), food, and, just for the humans–Independence beer.

Proceeds from the event will benefit a host of local animal adoption and advocacy groups, including Austin Pets Alive, Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin, Love-A-Bull, Austin Animal Center, and Hard Luck Hounds.

Last year’s Pints for Pups event raised more than $5,600 in donations, an amount which the Independence crew is hoping to top this year.

Tickets to Pints for Pups are $10 at the door and include a commemorative tasting glass and three beers in addition to the pet-themed fun.
