Texas Craft Brewers Fest Announces Participating Breweries
The Texas Craft Brewers Festival has announced a preliminary list of breweries participating in the 2013 festival.
Of the more than 40 breweries participating this year, at least 13 will be new to the festival, an impressive number when you consider the fact that when the festival originally launched in 2003, there were less than ten total breweries pouring.
The event, which is put on by the Young Men’s Business League of Austin (YMBL), with support from members of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, will be held Saturday, September 28 at Fiesta Gardens. In addition to the opportunity to taste some of the best craft beer the Lonestar state has to offer, attendees can also enjoy live music and food from local vendors.
The Texas Craft Brewers Festival benefits Austin Sunshine Camps, a non-profit whose enrichment programs provide mentoring, education and personal development opportunities for lower income youth.
A variety of ticketing options are available for purchase on the festival’s website, ranging in price from a $10 designated driver ticket, to an $86 VIP ticket that also includes Enthusiast level membership to the Texas Craft Brewers Guild.
