The new brew is a 6.1 percent dry hopped pilsner which aims to be light and refreshing, while still packing a Texas-sized punch with an ABV that’s a bit larger than average for the style.
In what’s being called a statewide release, Texas Pils will be available at the following Texas Tavern League locations tomorrow (August 10):
Dallas: Craft & Growler, J Mac Swill & Grill, The Common Table and Goodfriend Burger House.
Austin: Draught House
San Antonio: The Friendly Spot
Houston: The Petrol Station and The Hay Merchant.
Waco: Dancing Bear Pub
… and the Community Beer Company taproom as well as other bars & restaurants throughout North Texas.
Considering Community does not officially distribute to Austin (bars like Draught House and Chicago House occasionally offer kegs that have been driven down by employees or friends), this will be a good opportunity for Austinites to go out and try a pint.
