Alamo Lakeline to house Glass Half Full Taproom

The new Lakeline Alamo Drafthouse location is set to open its doors in July, bringing with it the opening of Glass Half Full Taproom, a full service in-house bar focusing on craft beer and cocktails.

With 10 screens and enough seating for 944 moviegoers, Lakeline will be the largest Alamo location nationwide, and the first theater in Texas to house Glass Half Full, a concept that has already been tested at new Alamo locations in Colorado and Virginia.

According to a press release circulated today, the bar will have 32 taps, the majority of which will be local or regional Texas brews.

The bar will also offer a seasonal cocktail menu designed by Drafthouse Beverage Director Bill Norris, which “will draw inspiration from the beer focus of Glass Half Full.” Did somebody say craft beer cocktails?
