Ranger Creek Celebrates Two Year Anniversary w/ Open House

ranger-creekCentral Texas’ only favorite “brewstillery” Ranger Creek, will be celebrating their big two year anniversary with a fun-filled open house this Saturday, Dec. 8.

They’ll be pouring their special second anniversary beer DOS, a 9% ABV Double Oatmeal Pale Ale.

As if that wasn’t mouthwatering enough, attendees will also get to try Small Batch Series No. 4, a 10% ABV Imperial Mesquite Smoked Porter. The fact that Ranger Creek is also a distillery is really coming in handy, as this is the first beer to be aged in their own .36 bourbon barrels. (We were actually lucky enough to try this beer at the Open the Taps party at the Flying Saucer last week, and can verify its badassery. It has a great bourbon character that is sure to leave you with just the right amount of fire in your belly and hair on your chin.)

If high ABV boozy beers aren’t your only passion in life, the event will also feature free La Bestia beer Ice Cream from Brindles Awesome Ice Cream, and Ranger Creek’s own house brewed root beer and hop soda, plus live music and food trucks.

An $8 Ranger Creek pint glass will grant you admission. (You can also get in for just $5 if you bring your own Ranger Creek pint glass or rock a Ranger Creek t-shirt. Consider your loyalty rewarded.)

Ranger Creek is located at 4834 Whirlwind Dr. in San Antonio, Texas. Saturday’s open house will take place from 2-5p.m.
