Jester King premieres new Buddha’s Brew

Last week, local brewery Jester King Craft Brewery announced their newest beer, Buddah’s Brew. Like we reported earlier, the collaboration with Buddah’s Brew Kombucha is a sour wheat ale blended with Buddha’s Brew kombucha and fermented entirely in oak barrels.

If that makes your mouth water, then clear your schedule because this Saturday Jester King will be premiering Buddah’s Brew publicly for the first time. The unveiling will take place at Jester King’s weekly open tasting room from 1 to 4 p.m.

Alongside Buddah’s Brew, Jester King will be serving up a delicious and always reliable smattering of their current beers. This week the menu includes Mad Meg Farmhouse Provision Ale, Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer, Noble King Hoppy Farmhouse Ale, Das Wunderkind! Sour Saison, Bonnie the Rare Berliner Weisse and a special guest keg, De La Senne Stouterik.

With music from the McMercy Family Band, hourly brewery tours and food from one of Austin’s best food trucks, Chi’Lantro, this Saturday is the perfect time to head out west to Jester King and grab this new beer while it lasts.
